PLAN LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Plan License Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Christian Serrano Design Group (“Licensor”) and the purchaser (“Licensee”) upon the purchase or download of any home plan, construction document, or related design material.

  1. GRANT OF LICENSE

Upon purchase, Licensor grants Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased plan for the construction of one (1) residential dwelling at a single project location.

No ownership rights are transferred to Licensee. All copyrights, intellectual property rights, and ownership interests remain exclusively with Licensor.

  1. PERMITTED USES

Licensee may:

• Use the purchased plan to construct one residence.
• Provide copies of the plan to contractors, consultants, engineers, lenders, permitting authorities, and other parties directly involved in the permitted construction project.
• Make reasonable field modifications required for construction, engineering, permitting, or site-specific conditions.

  1. PROHIBITED USES

Licensee may not:

• Construct multiple homes from a single plan purchase.
• Reproduce, sell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the plan to any third party.
• Share digital plan files outside the permitted project team.
• Claim ownership of the design or any portion thereof.
• Use the plan as a basis for creating derivative designs for resale or commercial distribution.
• Upload plan files to public websites, online marketplaces, or file-sharing platforms.

  1. ADDITIONAL LICENSES

Construction of additional homes using the same plan requires the purchase of additional licenses or written authorization from Licensor.

Builder licenses, multi-use licenses, and development licenses may be available upon request.

  1. MODIFICATIONS

Any modifications made by Licensee, contractors, engineers, or consultants are the sole responsibility of Licensee. Licensor is not responsible for revisions made after delivery.

  1. SITE CONDITIONS

Licensee is responsible for verifying all dimensions, code requirements, zoning restrictions, engineering requirements, and site conditions prior to construction.

Licensor does not guarantee compliance with all local building codes or jurisdictional requirements without project-specific review.

  1. NO TRANSFER OF COPYRIGHT

Purchase of a plan grants a license to use the design and does not transfer copyright ownership.

All plans remain protected under United States copyright laws.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Licensor’s total liability arising from the use of the plans shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by Licensee.

  1. ACCEPTANCE

By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using the plans, Licensee acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Agreement.
